I took these pictures of kelp forests in the cold sea at Johnstone Strait while kayaking. Kelp is the fastest growing plant in the world: it grows 30-80 centimeters/day! Look at Case 05 for more green photos of my USA/Canada trip.

We hired a camper and drove from San Francisco to Vancouver Island. American campers are huge, often folding out twice at both sides. A real camp man puts a ‘bridge’ under his poop long.

Everything is big in America. The red cedar (drive-thru) trees in Northern Califonia are the largest in the world. The record giant Sequoia has a diameter of 17 meters.
