| Today De Volkskrant is publishing the best pictures of 2009. I loved this one of two albino children sitting – next to their sister – outside of their home in the V9 slum of Olinda, Brazil. Photo REUTERS/Alexandre Severo-JC Imagem

Funeral procession No Comments

| A funeral procession with black limo’s feels unpleasant and dreary. For the last journey of my mother-in-law my friend drove to her favourite spots with this shiny trailer.

| Post a description of a project you desperately want to do at Kickstarter and raise money in no time. Only if enough money is offered for the project, all people are billed. For goals that are not reached, nobody is charged. For example with the current freeze in the housing market, this ice house shall soon be created ($11,000 was raised).

Nobody is watching No Comments
|

| This poster, placed in a bus shelter in Berlin, was a one-time installation sponsored by Amnesty International. It brought the issue of (not) being watched to life: when a person looked at the poster, (s)he saw a photograph of an amiable couple. If no one paid attention though, the image switched to abuse. Via an hidden camera the image responded to the faces of passers-by. Design Jung von Matt.
