The sketches below left, are based on the client’s existing Fruit2Day bottles; we made these asymmetrical, added a stalk on the cap and a handwritten story about the origin and advantage of the special ingredients. The product itself should be the hero, without clutter. No more the Photoshopped fruit pics. Client Hero Research & strategy Flare Innovation

3D sketches in Rhino. Search for strong a shape of the bottle, like rockets, pumas, cocktail shakers or strong fruit shapes. Respondents (and designers) preferred the rocket bottle (middle), but because of time limits and technical procedures we were asked to redesign the bottle that was based on a stalk of bamboo combined with fruit (left).

Final sketch of the rocket bottle, definitely our favorite. It is a great and very recognizable basic shape to apply on jam jars, cans, even cardboard boxes.
