OMA

|OMA, the architecture firm of Rem Koolhaas, unveils a new design for a residential complex in Singapore, called The Interlace. It is large-scale complex of interconnected apartment buildings stacked in an innnovative hexagonal way. With extensive outdoor spaces the apartments integrate with the natural environment. The main designer, Ole Scheeren, did extensive analysis of sun, wind and micro-climate conditions and responds to social needs with multiple indoor and outdoor communal spaces.
